St. Govan's Chapel
St. Govan's Chapel is built down in a cove in the cliffs of the Pembroke coast. You have to drive through several tiny "hamlets" and through a military bombing range to get to the coast. Once at the coast, there are trails that run for miles either direction with stunning views of the coastal cliffs and out to sea. Inland are grasslands with the occasional bombed out military vehicle from when they are using the range for practice.

Cove in Pembrokeshire Coast
There were these coves or cuts into the cliffs all along the coast. Some were so skinny that you could almost jump across the gap. Others were cut into the rock like a cave with sink-holes here and there from which you could hear the sounds of the surf emminating.

Climber on Cliff Wall
Here is an example of a cove where the ground almost completely covers it. There were climbers in this one and they were being filmed whilst (had to use that word since I heard it all over Wales) another guy narrated. If you enlarge the picture, that's a long way down.

Relaxing on the Cliffs
Despite the overcast, it was a nice day - warm with a soft cool wind. I enjoyed just laying there listening to the surf.

Stone Houses from Pembroke CAstle Wall
These houses were built into what was the town wall. You can see the supporting remains of what used to be a town gate along the last house on the right. The wall still runs from the backside of these homes and along the road.

Rhosilli

Rhosilli is a town and a point of land that juts out from the tip of the Gower pennisula to Southwest in South Wales. There is a huge beach, some cliffs and a cliff walk, and the Worm's Head - a sliver of land that is only accessible via a natural causeway when at low tide. The sliver of land has several humps that might remind you of Nellie in Loch Ness, so it does have the appearance of a worm (even though I don't know the official story of how it got its name). The day started cloudy, but then cleared up nicely with a strong wind.

Another example of the Welsh language. And the picture ain't shabby either.
