There's nothing like a little naked pretend vacuuming to get you in the Christmas spirit.

More Christmas vacuuming.

Simon had a small emergency on our Christmas Day walk. Good thing it was cold and nobody was about... then again he's 3.

Gingerbread Houses

We attended a short kids workshop to decorate a gingerbread house. Needless to say it got very sticky but the kids had a great time.

Thanksgiving 2008

The entire (although not so large) Brees clan gathered at Lolly and Pop's house in Augusta, GA to celebrate Thanksgiving. Jeremy and Emily drove up from Tallahassee and we ate more than any other family.

Soccer Season

Simon played soccer for the first time this Fall (2008). It was the micro-league where the kids spend as much time falling down, chatting about a stick and other (more interesting) pursuits than kicking the ball into the goal. Still it was quite fun to watch and coach.
Simon and Coach Daddy off to a game.

Most of the team couldn't wait to stop playing soccer so they could play with this little marble game built into the play gym. Figures.

South Dakota Pheasant Hunting

My (Jeb) GC took the Commonwealth team and some others on a pheasant hunting trip up near Clark, SD in mid-October. It was a great weekend of hunting, poker and manly fellowship. Here are a few snapshots from the trip.
